First up, we have Khanmigo. I am sure many of you have heard about or used khan academy. Khanmigo is an AI powered tutoring tool which can help kids with homework questions where it guides them step by step instead of just giving the answer. Along with that, you can play educational games with it like writing stories and roleplaying as historical characters. Finally, it can give writing feedback on your pieces.
Something else that could give writing advice is Quill. Quill is an AI organization that helps children by giving real time feedback to them about writing. For example, when a kid is writing it gives hints and explanations on why you should not be putting a certain word there, or why you should put a comma there. This isn't only helpful for elementary school kids, but all students who have to write.
What if the topic is too advanced? Don't worry, Diffit has it covered. Diffit is an AI tool that allows advanced passages and articles to be converted to something more appropriate grade wise. If a teacher finds an article that would be really helpful but is too advanced, they could put it through Diffit and it would be perfect for the students. Even though this is more for the teachers, the next tool is perfect for students.
Read Along by Google is perfect for younger students who are still learning to read. How it works is the child would read off the screen out loud, and the AI would be listening. If a kid is struggling on a tricky word, the Ai will gently explain how to say it. If I was learning to read again, this would be a game changer for me. The next AI tool is also a game changer.
Scribble Diffusion is using revolutionary AI to turn scribbles into amazing sketches. All you would have to do is a rough sketch and a description, and it makes your photo look a million times better. I personally tried this and found it really fun even for older people. It can help in the classroom as well by bringing your ideas to life.
Overall all of these tools are great. I feel like Artificial Intelligence should be used in all places of life instead of being frowned upon. If used well it will allow learning to be enriched and the students will retain information a lot better.
