The new Google pixel pro, released May 27, is Google's first intro into the foldable technology field. There are multiple things they have done that beat Samsung's Galaxy Fold, and some things that could be improved. In this summary, I will be explaining in detail what all of those things are.
Pros: First, it is way slimmer than the Galaxy Fold and has no gap between the screens when it is folded. The hinge is superfluid and makes the transition from folded to open almost flawless. Another pro is it is completely waterproof, which is not something you would expect from a folded phone.
Cons: The camera specs are a lot worse than the Galaxy Pro, and a lot worse compared to the last pixel. Even though it has complete 180-degree locking in place, like a tripod. The display also has a lot of negatives. One thing is the huge bezels. The first original Galaxy Fold has a lot slimmer bezel than the Google Pixel Fold. One source said it felt almost like it was from the past. In addition to that, the screen crease then connects it is also very visible.
Finally, the software. This is one of the biggest things Google stepped up in. For starters, you can completely change and customize the widgets and apps on your home screen. Moreover, they added simple voice commands. An example is when someone is calling you you can just say answer, or accept and it will pick up for you. The same goes vice versa for declining. Whenever you are calling someone, it has an AI that removes all background noise and makes the speaker completely clear. So this means if that person is in a loud music festival, the AI can completely filter it out and just make it so you hear the speaker talking.
Overall, I think this is a good phone but Google still has some catching up to do to Samsung before I would call it the best foldable phone.

Lovely analysis! Thank you Aaru.
